Amantii vs. Modern Ember: Why Amantii Is the Better Choice for Smart Electric Fireplace Customization
When shopping for a smart electric fireplace, realistic flames and attractive design are only part of the equation. Today’s homeowners also want smartphone control, personalized flame effects, lighting options, scheduling, temperature control, and voice commands that integrate naturally into a connected home.
Two brands that deserve consideration are Amantii and Modern Ember. While Modern Ember offers capable smart electric fireplaces with app and voice control, Amantii stands out for homeowners, designers, and builders who want a deeper level of fireplace customization and control across a broader range of premium electric fireplace models.
For buyers who view an electric fireplace as both a design feature and a smart-home appliance, Amantii is the stronger overall choice for customization, flexibility, and premium fireplace technology.
Smart Electric Fireplace Control From Your Phone
One of the biggest advantages of an Amantii smart electric fireplace is the ability to control your fireplace from your smartphone.
Many Amantii smart models connect through Wi-Fi and offer app-based control, allowing users to adjust fireplace functions from virtually anywhere. Depending on the model, the app can provide control over flame settings, heat, lighting, timers, temperature, and other ambiance features.
Amantii’s newer Lumina models take smartphone customization even further. The upgraded mobile application provides adjustments for flame brightness, flame color, flame speed, heat settings, and tray color, giving homeowners substantially more control over the appearance of their fireplace.
That level of control matters because an electric fireplace doesn’t have to look the same every time you turn it on. You can create a warm, traditional appearance for a quiet evening, adjust the flame and lighting for entertaining, or operate the flame without heat during warmer months.
More Than an On-and-Off App
A smart fireplace app should do more than simply turn the unit on and off.
This is where Amantii has a significant advantage for customers looking for a more customizable experience.
Depending on the Amantii model, users can customize elements such as:
- Flame color
- Flame speed
- Flame brightness
- Flame pattern
- Ember bed lighting
- Canopy lighting
- Heat settings
- Temperature
- Timers
- Fireplace schedules
- Audio features on select models
For example, the Amantii Symmetry Smart series offers two flame patterns, three flame speeds, multiple flame colors, and up to 11 canopy and ember-bed lighting colors. It also includes programmable timer and thermostat functionality.
Amantii’s premium Signature and TruView models can go even further, with features such as adjustable ember-bed colors, custom lighting effects, integrated audio, Bluetooth connectivity, and sophisticated flame presentation.
The result is a fireplace that can be customized to fit the room rather than a fireplace that simply provides a predetermined flame effect.
Voice Control for a Truly Smart Fireplace
Smartphone control is convenient, but voice control takes the experience another step forward.
With compatible smart-home configurations, voice assistants can allow homeowners to control their electric fireplace without reaching for a remote or opening an app. Tuya’s smart-home ecosystem supports voice-assistant integration, while specific fireplace capabilities depend on the model and configuration.
That means a compatible Amantii installation can become part of a broader smart-home environment, giving homeowners the potential to use voice commands for supported fireplace functions.
Imagine saying:
“Turn on the fireplace.”
“Set the fireplace temperature.”
“Turn off the fireplace.”
“Turn on the fireplace in the living room.”
For homeowners building a connected home, this kind of hands-free control can make an electric fireplace feel less like a standalone appliance and more like an integrated part of the home.
Important: Voice-control functionality can vary by Amantii model and smart-home setup, so specific voice commands should be confirmed for the fireplace being purchased.
Amantii vs. Modern Ember: How Do They Compare?
Modern Ember also offers smart electric fireplaces with impressive technology. Its current products include mobile-app control and voice control through platforms such as Alexa and Google Home. For example, the Modern Ember Highmark offers Wi-Fi/Tuya app control, Alexa and Google voice control, multiple flame colors, ember-bed colors, flame speeds, and brightness settings.
So why choose Amantii?
The difference is less about whether one brand has “smart” technology and more about how deeply the fireplace can be customized and how many premium configurations are available across the product lineup.
Amantii’s Advantage: Customization
Amantii offers an extensive range of electric fireplace configurations, including linear fireplaces, built-in models, inserts, multi-sided fireplaces, traditional designs, outdoor-rated models, and premium feature-rich series.
Many models provide extensive control over flame appearance and lighting, while select premium models add features such as integrated sound, Bluetooth, programmable thermostats, custom ember lighting, and multiple installation configurations.
This gives designers and homeowners more freedom to create a fireplace that matches the specific architecture and mood of the room.
A Fireplace That Can Change With Your Space
One of the strongest reasons to choose Amantii is that customization isn’t limited to the physical installation.
Your fireplace can change visually depending on how you use your room.
Want a traditional warm fire effect? Select warmer flame colors and a traditional flame pattern.
Want something contemporary? Adjust the flame color, brightness, speed, and surrounding lighting.
Want ambiance without heat? Run the flame independently from the heater.
Want the fireplace ready when you get home? Use programmable scheduling on compatible models.
Amantii’s smart fireplaces are designed around this idea of personalized ambiance rather than simply providing supplemental heat. Several Amantii models allow the flame to operate independently from the heater, making them useful throughout the year.
Design Freedom Meets Smart Technology
Another major advantage of Amantii is the combination of smart technology and architectural flexibility.
Many Amantii fireplaces are designed for fully recessed, built-in, semi-flush, wall-mounted, corner, and multi-sided installations, depending on the series. This makes them suitable for everything from traditional fireplace renovations to contemporary feature walls and luxury outdoor entertaining areas.
The Amantii Panorama BI Deep Smart, for example, offers Wi-Fi smartphone control, programmable timer and thermostat functionality, multiple flame colors, multiple lighting options, and indoor/outdoor installation capability on applicable configurations.
That combination of installation flexibility + smart controls + visual customization is one of the reasons Amantii is particularly attractive to designers and custom-home builders.
Amantii vs. Modern Ember: Which Electric Fireplace Is Right for You?
Modern Ember is a legitimate option for shoppers who want an affordable smart electric fireplace with app and voice functionality. Its products offer features such as customizable flame effects, mobile control, and Alexa/Google Home compatibility on supported models.
However, for customers prioritizing premium design, deeper customization, extensive lighting and flame controls, installation flexibility, and a broader range of advanced fireplace technologies, Amantii deserves serious consideration.
Choose Amantii if you want:
- More extensive fireplace customization
- Advanced flame and lighting controls
- Smartphone/Wi-Fi control
- Smart scheduling and thermostat functions on compatible models
- Voice-control capability through supported smart-home configurations
- Multiple installation configurations
- Traditional and contemporary fireplace designs

The Bottom Line: Amantii Is Built for a More Personalized Fireplace Experience
A modern electric fireplace should do more than produce heat. It should complement the architecture of your home, create the right atmosphere, and fit naturally into the way you live.
While Modern Ember provides compelling smart fireplace options, Amantii is the better pick for homeowners and professionals who place a premium on customization and advanced fireplace technology.
From detailed flame and lighting adjustments to Wi-Fi app control, programmable settings, voice-control compatibility on supported configurations, and an extensive selection of fireplace styles and installation options, Amantii gives you more ways to make your fireplace your own.
If you’re investing in a premium electric fireplace, Amantii offers the combination of design flexibility, smart technology, and customization that can turn a fireplace from a simple appliance into the centerpiece of your room.
