When shopping for a premium electric fireplace, two names frequently appear at the top of the list: Amantii and Modern Flames. Both brands offer stylish, built-in electric fireplaces designed to bring warmth and visual appeal to contemporary spaces, but they cater to slightly different preferences and project requirements.

Whether you’re planning a custom media wall, renovating your living room, or selecting a fireplace for a new build, understanding the differences between these brands can help you make an informed decision.

Brand Overview

Amantii

Amantii has built its reputation by offering a broad selection of electric fireplaces for residential and commercial applications. Its lineup includes linear fireplaces, traditional designs, three-sided models, indoor and outdoor options, and high-output units.

Many Amantii fireplaces emphasize customizable flame presentations, decorative media options, and installation flexibility, making them popular with homeowners, interior designers, builders, and hospitality projects.

Modern Flames

Modern Flames focuses primarily on contemporary electric fireplaces with clean, minimalist styling. The brand offers several built-in linear models, landscape fireplaces, and suites designed for modern interiors.

Its products are commonly selected for contemporary living spaces where sleek aesthetics are the primary design goal.

Both brands offer modern linear fireplaces, but their product ranges differ.

Amantii provides one of the broader selections available, including:

• Linear fireplaces
• Traditional fireplaces
• Three-sided fireplaces
• Indoor and outdoor models
• Built-in and wall-mounted options
• High-output heating models

---

Flame Appearance

The realism of the flame effect is one of the most important considerations when purchasing an electric fireplace.

Both manufacturers offer adjustable flame settings and multiple lighting options on many models.

When comparing individual fireplaces, look for features such as:

• Multiple flame colors
• Adjustable flame speed
• Ember bed lighting
• Decorative canopy lighting
• Flame brightness controls
• Flame-only operation

Since these features vary by model, comparing specific units rather than brands alone is the best approach.

---

Heating Performance

Electric fireplaces generally provide supplemental heat rather than serving as the primary heating source for an entire home.

Many models from both manufacturers are designed to heat spaces of approximately 400 square feet on a standard household circuit.

Certain premium models from both brands may also support higher-output heating through hardwired installations. Always review the specifications for the exact model you are considering.

---

Installation Flexibility

Installation requirements vary by fireplace model, but both brands offer recessed built-in designs suitable for custom feature walls.

Amantii’s lineup includes:

• Clean-face installations
• Three-sided viewing configurations
• Indoor and outdoor applications
• Built-in and wall-mounted designs
• Optional finishing accessories for select models

Modern Flames also offers built-in installations with a strong emphasis on modern architectural styling.

Before purchasing, verify framing dimensions, electrical requirements, and manufacturer installation guidelines.

Smart Features

Technology continues to improve across premium electric fireplaces.

Depending on the model, buyers may find features such as:

• Remote controls
• Adjustable thermostats
• Programmable timers
• Multiple flame colors
• LED lighting effects
• Mobile app compatibility
• Smart home integration

Available features differ by product line, so it’s worth comparing the specifications of the models you’re interested in.
